Martin Barrow, CBE GBS

Martin Barrow joined Jardine Matheson in 1965, after more than 2 years of travels across Asia, and spent 22 years in Hong Kong, 8 years in Tokyo, 3 years in Thailand and 3 years in Saudi Arabia, where Jardines had a major investment at the time. He was Chairman of Jardine Matheson (China) for many years.

Martin was a member of the Hong Kong Legislature, Chairman of Hong Kong Tourism, Director of the Trade Development Council, Chairman of Deregulation, Chairman of the Hong Kong-Japan Trade Committee, Chairman of the Hong Kong Arts Festival, and had many other public roles in Hong Kong.
